“We are so excited! After many years of thinking about this, we are finally offering up one of our coolest Adventure Sailing vacation ideas ever! Join us for ten days of magical and exotic sailing from Thailand’s Phuket to Malaysia’s Langkawi.
To make the most of everything that will go into organizing this special opportunity, Captain Woody of Adventure Voyaging and Tania Aebi of TASA will be teaming up to bring you this most awesome sailing experience.
Come spend 10 days sailing from one gorgeous anchorage to another. There is so, so much to see and do in this part of the world and we will be sure to carefully select the highlights. Our timing falls during the thick of northern latitudes winter, which will make the tropical climate, generally sunny nature, and gentle winds of the northeast monsoon season all the more appealing.”

We board the yachts in Phuket on February 18, 1700 (5pm). Leave the yachts on the island of Langkawi, Malaysia February 28, 1100 (11am).
The boats …
We have chosen catamarans for this Adventure. As so much of our time will be spent above decks, the extra deck space will be super for dining, swimming, snorkeling, lounging about and sunbathing. We are starting with a couple cats and will add more boats as needed.
What is included …
Ten days and nights on the boat, all food, sheets and towels, port dues, clearance fees (we will be checking out of Thailand and into Malaysia, more stamps for our passports!), fuel, ground transportation to airport in Langkawi, and some surprises. We provision the boats with locally available foods for three square and delicious meals a day, though there will also be plenty of opportunity to dine ashore.
What isn’t included …
Travel. At the moment, round trip airfare from NYC to Phuket is about $1150, and one-way airfare from Langkawi back to Phuket is about $120. That’s cheaper than flying to Europe! You are also responsible for ground transportation to the yachts. We will provide travel advice. Other costs – alcohol, souvenirs, scooter rentals?
As we get closer to our Adventure, we will provide all kinds of details and information about where to meet the boats, suggestions about other things to do while on that side of the world before or after our charter . . .
How to get there …
Choose your US departure city, and get a round trip ticket to Phuket (airport code HKT). Google.com/flights can help with air plans. Please wait to book your air until we have contacted you and confirmed your spot. Departure airport is Langkawi (airport code LGK) to Phuket.
