The big motorcoach will be outside of the
Electra Metropolis Hotel. Mitropoleos 15, Athina 105 57, Greece.
Our motorcoach with English speaking guide picks us up in Athens. We drive along the scenic coastal road which affords a splendid view of the Saronic Gulf. Passing through some of the peninsula’s most beautiful suburbs – elegant areas of Blyfada, Vouliagmeni, Varkiza. We will stop for lunch at a coastal spot. We arrive at Cape Sounio where we will visit the 5th century B.C. Temple of Poseidon with one of the most breathtaking panoramic views in the world. On a clear day you can see at least seven Cyclades islands. The Doric columns of local marble have 16 flutings instead of the usual 34. The precipice is a sheer 197 foot drop to the sea. We then enjoy a leisurely cruise up the east to the town of Lavrion where are yachts lie. We board by 6pm.
